FAQ

What is So-So Supermarket? Is it a storefront or an outdoor market? So-So Supermarket is your one-stop shop for specially curated vintage, jewelry, handmade goods, and tons more! So-So markets began in 2020 as an outdoor marketplace, and have now developed into retail shops. With storefronts in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Berkeley, we host dozens of small businesses that we rotate on a monthly basis! We have several options for those looking to boost their business: selling for a day in-store, monthly vending, or vending at our outdoor market events. Come visit us and explore our store, or check out our Instagram for the next outdoor market event near you!

How do I become a vendor? Apply online through our site for in-store & market events! We rotate vendors every season or when openings become available. We are seeking vintage curators, artists, and designers! For those curious about our rates, please reference the application as it varies by location/display space/etc.

When are the outdoor market events? So-So markets occur monthly, with dates differing for each location! To learn about upcoming events, we recommend shoppers stay tuned to our Instagram @Thesosomarket.

Can I sell my clothes to a So-So Supermarket? Since So-So supermarkets are vendor based collectives, we do not buy clothes in-store. We do not operate as a buy-sell trade; however, we welcome new curators and artists!

Can I shop So-So Supermarket online? Our online store consists of kawaii merchandise and our own original store merchandise. While our vintage in-store pieces are 1-of-1, we do occasionally post shoppable vintage ‘drops’ online as well!
